    We accept Wood that is bare or that has been painted of treated.

    We accept Concrete that is dry and ideally broken up to be loaded by hand.

  • Soil

    We accept Soil which is a common material for landscape gardeners to dispose of.

  • Glass

    Glass

    We accept Glass as sheet glass or within a window frame. Laminated glass is charged by tonnage separately.

  • Metals

    Metals

    We accept Metals including iron, aluminium and copper.

  • Plastics

    Plastics

    We accept Plastics which is a common material disposed of during shop clearances.

  • Fabric

    We accept Fabric which is a common material to dispose of for shop clearances.

    We accept carpets and there is an additional charge of £150.00 per tonne.

    We accept Tarmac and there is an additional charge of £50.00 per ton.

    We accept mattresses and there an additional charge of £20 +VAT per mattress.

  • Rubber

    We accept rubber and there is an additional charge of £135.00 per ton.

  • Metal & Wood Flooring

    We accept metal & wood flooring and there is an additional charge of £115.00 per ton.

  • Plasterboard

    Plasterboard

    Less than 10% - will have to be pre-agreed, then bagged and placed on top of the skip / bin.

    More than 10% - will require a skip solely for the plasterboard.

  • Insulation

    Insulation

    We accept Insulation which is a material often disposed of during building renovations. There is an additional charge of £135.00 per ton.

  • Asphalt

    Asphalt

    We accept asphalt and there is an additional charge of £135.00 per ton.

  • Chemical & Liquid Waste

    Chemical & Liquid Waste

    We can’t take chemical & liquid waste due to the problem of spillage during transport and problems separating liquids in our transfer station.

  • Animal Products

    Animal Products

    Animal products are prohibited for our drivers to take due to the contamination and special requirements needed to dispose of animal products safely.

  • Food Waste

    Food Waste

    We are unable to take food as this requires a specific licence and disposal requirements. Food waste should be disposed of with your normal rubbish collection service.

  • Oil

    Oil

    We are unable to take any type of oil, even in sealed containers. Oil should be taken to your local recycling centre so that it can be disposed of in a safe and clean manner.

  • Tree Trunks

    Tree Trunks

    We can accept some tree trunks, however, there is a diameter restriction. Please speak to our rubbish collection team for more details.

  • Asbestos

    Asbestos

    We do not accept asbestos at all. This is a dangerous material and must be removed by a specialist company that deals with asbestos.

  • Biological and Medical Waste

    Biological and Medical Waste

    Human waste including septic tank, chemical toilets, medical, radioactive and empty hazardous material containers cannot be disposed of through Reston Waste.

  • Batteries

    Batteries

    Batteries such as lithium batteries require separate, specialist disposal as they are an extreme fire hazard when damaged or when they come into contact with water. You must not place batteries in with your general waste or our skips.

  • Railway Sleepers

    Railway Sleepers

    As of September 2023, we can no longer take railway sleepers as they are now considered hazardous timber waste, which we are not licensed to accept.

  • Telegraph Poles

    Telegraph Poles

    Telegraph poles are now part of the hazardous timber waste group. As of September 2023, we cannot accept this waste type due to the chemicals they have been treated with.
