8 Yard Skip
Ideal for builders waste such as rubble and concrete this skip is the size of a small car and capable of holding heavy loads.
12 Yard Skip
This is popular for those clearing a house or office, throwing away furniture or household waste. It is ideal for lighter loads whilst being large enough to accommodate the majority of furniture types without the need for breaking the items down.
18 Yards Waste Collection
Our Waste Collection service is a cost effective way to dispose of your rubbish if a 12 yard skip isn’t big enough. All labour is included and we will help you move lighter household and office items quickly and efficiently.

Skip Location and Legalities
Not everywhere allows skips to be placed on the road, the law states that a skip used on a public highway should be covered by a special permit as well as being highly visible with the use of lights.
We can help you secure a permit as well as providing the skip equipment you need to make sure your skip meets the regulations. It is essential that you book in advance as permits can take up to ten days to arrive.
We charge a small administration fee of ten pounds for this service, in addition to this your council will charge a fee from £30-£130 depending on which council your skip location falls under.
As this is a lengthy and sometimes costly procedure we offer a service that reduces the cost and allows you to dispose of your waste quickly and efficiently without the wait for a permit.
Wait and Load
We will deliver a skip to your location and wait patiently until the skip is filled. As soon as the skip is loaded we will then take it away, this avoids the need for permits as the skip is temporary rather than a semi-permanent fixture.
The DO’s and DON’Ts of Waste Disposal
Skips are an effective way to clear rubble; rubbish and unwanted items, however there are stipulations that must be adhered to in order for the legalities to be met.
When loading your skip you must make sure that all rubbish is in line with the marker on the skip, this ensures that during transportation no items fall off and damage pedestrians, cars or property.
As we are committed to recycling and eco-friendly disposal of the waste we collect, there are some items that must be thrown away separately in order for waste regulations to be adhered to.
These include:
- Plasterboard – Recent regulations stipulate that this must now be kept clean and dry. We realise this may be impossible if bad weather arrives or wet items are placed in the skip. That is why we offer a separate waste removal service for the effective disposal of plasterboard.
- Hazardous Waste – This includes asbestos, car batteries, clinical waste, corrosive/hazardous substances, oily waste, putrid waste and large trees and logs.
We can however collect extra items for an additional charge such as:
Tyres, Fridge Freezers, Gas Cylinders, Televisions, Monitors, Fluorescent Tubes and White Goods, disposing of each item according to the rules of the waste regulations act.
