Four wheelie bins under Labour plans
Under plans by the Labour party, if they win the general election on May the 6th, we will all have four wheelie bins outside of our home to help us tackle the issue we have in the country with waste and to aid recycling.
Some would argue that not everybody has space for four wheelie bins outside of their home, but we need to think of the consequences of not recycling or managing our waste properly.
To keep up with the amount of waste that household produce, there will only be fortnightly collections. However, if you are properly recycling and sorting through your rubbish, you will not have a rubbish bin that is overflowing.
On most packaging nowadays it says whether or not it can be recycled. Labour plans seem to be following the lines of many other European countries, in particular Germany where they are very keen on recycling. It only seems sensible that we act now to deal with the massive problem that Britain has with the growing number of landfill sites and act decisively to ensure that we are recycling as much of our waste as possible.
