It is recycling week next week
Recycling week is due to start next Monday and from the 21st to the 27th of June, there will be many initiative taking place to encourage householders and businesses alike to get them to recycle their waste.
In London in particular, there will be a big drive to get those who do not currently recycle any of their waste to get into the habit of separating it out and putting it in the correct bins. In addition, householders who already recycle will be given additional hints and tips to help them to recycle even further.
We produce 300 billion tonnes of rubbish in the UK every year. This is an extraordinarily large quantity of rubbish and it isn’t even worth considering how many landfill sites it would take to house all of this rubbish. However, we can actively reduce the number of landfill sites required in the UK if we all started to recycle. You can recycle both at home and in the office. If you are at all unsure about recycling, particularly on a large scale, you may want to consider hiring a waste management company who are readily available to assist you in all of your recycling needs.
